I think the phrase "the idiot's lantern" was once used to describe television; probably it's become archaic by now, but it still sounds pretty cool, yeah? And, oh yes, Rose was rocking the flag scene. :D Really, the only thing that gets on my nerves about that episode is the Doctor's hair--sorry, honey, you just can't pull off a pomade...

Oh God, I know. Plus, seeing as David Tennant's hair is normally all unkempt and sticking up all over the place, this hairstyle makes it look so...wrong. AUGH.
