I have a gigantic pile of homework today, so of course that means I wrote approximately 400 words of Merlin RPF for the first time in like, three months! So yeah, HANDWRITING FIC COMING UP SOON, MAYBE, PROBABLY.
Also, have a random snippet of something I wrote in history today when I should have been taking notes.
“Bradley,” Katie says flatly, “Take that thing off your head. You look ridiculous.”
“Katieeeee, we’re on holiday! Loosen up.” Bradley reaches into his messenger bag (it is SO not a man-purse, no matter what Katie and her stupid fashion magazines have to say about it), pulls out a pair of mouse ears, and plonks them on Katie’s head.
Katie just glares. Then she pulls the mouse ears off. “People are staring.”
People were, indeed, staring. Loud, English boys wearing huge, Viking horn hats on their heads tended to look somewhat out of place on the ‘It’s a Small World’ ride.
“But I like it,” Bradley pouts.
Colin sighs and reaches over, presumably to pull the hat off Bradley’s head.
Only, Bradley lunges sideways, causing the whole boat to sway (a little girl screams, and several people give them annoyed glances) and his hat to fall off. Into the water.
The ride stops and some alarm starts beeping.
Katie puts her head in her hands. “I hate you all,” she mutters darkly.
“Hey!” Bradley says in protest, “It was mostly Colin’s fault!”
Colin smacks him on the arm. Hard.
Bradley yelps and kicks Colin’s shin in retaliation.
Colin seems like he’s about to do something violent and painful back, but that’s when Park Security gets there.
NOW I HAVE TO READ ABOUT 150 PAGES OF THE PICTURE OF DORIAN GRAY AND STUDY FOR A HUGE HISTORY TEST OF HUGENESS. I CAN DO IT! TOTALLY! IT'S NOT IMPOSSIBLE!
