Fortunately, one is less inclined to use capslock during fic. (Parentheticals pop up wherever you go, alas--as do dashes, but perhaps that is less of a problem for you; I remain inflicted with a predilection for using all sorts of transitory punctuation. It's a gift. And a curse.)
