They don't have it at your library? Wow. Libraryfail.

If you'd like, as part of my Quest of Bettering the World By Making People Read Watchmen and Question Everything They Thought They Knew About Graphic Novels and Superheroes, I'd be willing to lend you my copy of Watchmen. IDK if you're that interested, though. But I will say this: if you liked S1 of Heroes, you should like Watchmen, because the first season of Heroes is highly derivative of Watchmen. There are fewer characters and Watchmen is more thematically and structurally tight, but there are some definite similarities. And I don't know how else to sell it, because my OMGFLAILSQUEE is apparently not doing it, but trust me when I say it's the best thing I've read in a long time, and by far the movie I am most excited for this year.

And I will stop badgering you about this now, 'cause people badgered me about it, too, which just made me want to read it less, actually. Until I finally just sat down and did it, and then became a badgerer. XD

Also: *is now downloading Imagine Me & You instead of writing my essay*. Sigh. You are always so strangely compelling with these squee posts. D:
