i can't see me loving nobody but you

I watched "Imagine Me & You" last night because [livejournal.com profile] dollsome told me to, and OH MY GOOOOOD. The story is just so enchanting and cleverly written, and though it does drift off into the land of slight cheesiness near the end, it is just so, SO, superb (and "Happy Together" - ONE OF MY FAVORITEST SONGS IN THE UNIVERSE - is the montage song at the end!).

And the acting, Jesus Christ. The cast is fantastic and while some parts make you feel like you are about to explode with GLEE, some parts hurt so much it's like they yanked your heart out of your chest and put it through a paper shredder. All the characters are so much fun and so realistic; from the main couple, Rachel and Luce (Luce is played by the incredible Lena Headey, and let me say, it is SO STRANGE to see her play a character who isn't constantly being kickass and shooting people in the face, at first, but she pulls it off INCREDIBLY), to H, Rachel's precocious and adorable little sister, to Hec, Rachel's husband (played by the amazing and drool-worthy Matthew Goode!) - which is especially lovely, since usually the antagonist in romantic comedies is a total caricature, and not sympathetic AT ALL. Everyone has wonderful chemistry, the relationships are well-formed and believable, and it's such a legitimately good movie. Also, who should show up at the end but ANGEL COULBY? Acting wonderfully Gwen-like and generally being adorable!

In addition, it is SO BEAUTIFUL. Like, full on "Notes On A Scandal" beautiful. So beautiful, that I felt the urge to picspam, and what was supposed to be a maybe 40 cap affair turned into 100+ caps. Er, oops?

(The Sarah Connor Chronicles!!! Yes, that is to what I was referring up above! I've only seen about four episodes, and it isn't, like, spectacular or anything, but it's loads of fun, and everyone's really hot, and Lena Headey and Summer Glau basically go around beating people up and being awesome about it.) AND MATTHEW GOODE, SERIOUSLY (random fact: I call him McGoode in my head now, for like, no reason. THANKS FOR THAT, GREY'S ANATOMY). HIS JAAAAAM WILL ROCK YOUR WORLD. "I'M WRITING A BOOK." "OH THAT'S GOOD, 'CAUSE I CAN READ. *CUE FACE*"

The ASH refused to fit in the formatting! Like, all the caps I liked of him looked WEIRD AND OUT OF PLACE. I HAD TO DELETE THEM.

(Also, I just got one of those Twitter things because everyone has been badgering me to, and have NO IDEA what I'm supposed to do with it. WHAT IS IT FOR?)

(Female asskickery is really all I require! And she is also amazing and hardcore in 300 because she is fabulous.) Haha, he shall forever be MMMGoode to me, because that is the noise he makes me make. GUH. Also, Angel looks so good in white! And OH MY SOUL, THE SCENE WHERE HE'S TALKING ABOUT RACHEL IN THE FLOWER SHOP :'(

FINE, I'LL LET YOU OFF. I really miss Merlin, man. THE 9TH OF FEBRUARY CANNOT COME SWIFTLY ENOUGH TO SATE MY NEED FOR MORE CAST SHENANIGANS.

(Oh, win! I'm over here - IDK exactly, I mainly use it for tiny things that aren't worth a whole post/quick reactions to stuff/PROCRASTINAATION)

I am kind of frightened of the fact that I don't miss Merlin in the SOUL ACHEY way other people seem to be. And that is usually the precursor to me being slowly weaned off a fandom. I DON'T WANT TO BREAK UP WITH MERLIN, SOPHIE. I REALLY DON'T.

(I have just added you!)

Awwww, no! I think I would have been wallowing more if somebody hadn't got me obsessed with Supernatural (THANK YOU FOREVERRRR), but I'm still so easy for Merlin it's ridiculous. Like, if I read a really good fic, one that just absolutely nails Arthur/Merlin (hurr hurr, I am twelve) and their dynamic, that weird push and pull and bemusement and why-do-I-like-you-so-much? and doing stupid things for each other, I am still just so in there and it makes me kind of ache with all the love and DEAR GOD I AM PATHETIC. It's just, boyyyyyys. And I see a lot of stupid parallels between Merlin/Sam (THEY'RE BOTH SO EARNEST!) and Arthur/Dean (DADDY ISSUES, DADDY ISSUES), which helps. *SHUTTING UP NOW, FOR FUCK'S SAKE*

I DARE YOU TO TRY AND RESIST IN THE FACE OF NEW VIDEO DIARIES, THOUGH.

No like, it is WORSE with me. I haven't read fic in a MONTH. I haven't written fic in longer. I DO NOT EVEN FEEL THE DESIRE TO SAVE ICONS ANYMORE.

I DARE YOU TO TRY AND RESIST IN THE FACE OF NEW VIDEO DIARIES, THOUGH.

Wait, hold the phone. NEW VIDEO DIARIES, WHAT???? WHERE?? WHEN??? AHHHH!!!

TRAGEDY :(

Well, this is only going off the BBC Shop listing, but the Vol.2 DVD (2 WEEKS, 2 WEEKS!) apparently has new video diaries? IDK. IF NOT I WILL MAKE A FUSS, DAMMIT.
