This picspam is not at all organized! Because I started off with like, two things so I decided not to do size coordination. JUST IGNORE THAT. Also, the entire time I was making it, I was talking to [ profile] moogle62 on G-chat about, like, everything. There is no Dollhouse in this because I wanted to make it [ profile] moogle62 friendly after yakking at her about it all day. MOOG, HURRAY UP WITH THE WATCHING SO I CAN STOP WORRYING ABOUT SPOILING YOU. The lovely Eliza Dushku was also excluded because I wound up with way too many pictures of her and I AM TIRED. But tomorrow! Eliza spam!

Man, 98% of the time I am way too lazy to do picspams, and then the five times a year I do do them, they're of the huge, epic, dial-up destroying variety. Anyway! In a mad fit of inspiration, I picspammed Adelle DeWitt's scenes from Dollhouse 1.09 for this month's [ profile] picspammy challenge. Making this thing really reinforced my love for Adelle by like 39432904023 billion, and I totally teared up over how amazingly soul hurty Adelle's stuff was while doing some of the color correcting (listening to Lisa Hannigan's recentish album on repeat also probably had something to do with it. And now I associate all of Sea Sew with Dollhouse). Basically, I am an overemotional loser who cares too much about fictional characters, but what else is new? Also, there's over 250 screencaps here, so I think it's safe to say that this will straight up murder your dial-up.

I watched "Imagine Me & You" last night because [ profile] dollsome told me to, and OH MY GOOOOOD. The story is just so enchanting and cleverly written, and though it does drift off into the land of slight cheesiness near the end, it is just so, SO, superb (and "Happy Together" - ONE OF MY FAVORITEST SONGS IN THE UNIVERSE - is the montage song at the end!).

And the acting, Jesus Christ. The cast is fantastic and while some parts make you feel like you are about to explode with GLEE, some parts hurt so much it's like they yanked your heart out of your chest and put it through a paper shredder. All the characters are so much fun and so realistic; from the main couple, Rachel and Luce (Luce is played by the incredible Lena Headey, and let me say, it is SO STRANGE to see her play a character who isn't constantly being kickass and shooting people in the face, at first, but she pulls it off INCREDIBLY), to H, Rachel's precocious and adorable little sister, to Hec, Rachel's husband (played by the amazing and drool-worthy Matthew Goode!) - which is especially lovely, since usually the antagonist in romantic comedies is a total caricature, and not sympathetic AT ALL. Everyone has wonderful chemistry, the relationships are well-formed and believable, and it's such a legitimately good movie. Also, who should show up at the end but ANGEL COULBY? Acting wonderfully Gwen-like and generally being adorable!

In addition, it is SO BEAUTIFUL. Like, full on "Notes On A Scandal" beautiful. So beautiful, that I felt the urge to picspam, and what was supposed to be a maybe 40 cap affair turned into 100+ caps. Er, oops?

This month's challenge at [ profile] picspammy is Favorite People, and for anyone who's been on my f-list for longer than a week, this one's kind of a no-brainer. There are 37 HUGE images in this thing, so if you have dial-up, stay FAR, FAR away.

Despite this taking up, like, five hours, I kind of want to do it for Colin and Bradley now. WOULD THAT BE TOTALLY RIDICULOUS?

The best way to cheer yourself up after a weird day is to make a not really organized Merlin Pilot picspam! I COULD STARE AT BRADLEY JAMES' VARIOUS FACES OF HILARITY ALL FREAKING DAY. (Also, Colin Morgan has really nice lips, good LORD.)

I would probably have a coronary if there was a US remake of Doctor Who or Torchwood, but I was bored in the wee hours of the morning and this was spawned. I HIGHLY ENCOURAGE YOU ALL TO MAKE YOUR OWN VARIATION.

WOW. Guys, if you haven't given Veronica Mars a chance, do me a favor and just try out the first five or six episodes. The first season blew me out of the freaking water with a mix of snappy writing, stunning color, and emotion. VM is like a fantastic mix of three or four of my favorite shows, but has the strongest connections to Buffy the Vampire Slayer (kickass, little blonde takes down the bad guys) and Gossip Girl (Veronica's relationships to Duncan and Logan especially, but also the slight similarities between the UESers and the 09ers). However, I find the way Veronica solves mysteries to have less of an Alias feel and more like this awesome mashup between Chuck, Psych, and Supernatural.

Anyway, if you're even slightly interested, drop me a comment and I'll link you!

Miss Pettigrew Lives for a Day picspam! Pretty much all Amy Adams, with some Lee Pace. Also, [ profile] futuresoon told me there was an Unexpected DW Guest Star in the movie, but I did not expect it to be Christina Cole. AGAIN. Girl is turning up in everything I watch, lately...

I was going to answer the backlog of comments I have, picspam Glory and talk about "Crush" and the sadness of "I Was Made to Love You" and how Spike's become kind of an idiot lately, but then there was "The Body". An episode so sad, so beautiful, and so close to a work of art it's astounding.

The coloring for this picspam is kind of weird since a) Spike and Dru have the curse of never ever getting a scene in some NORMAL LIGHTING and b) Buffy and Angel have surprisingly different lighting. BtVS caps for the later seasons are more orangey, therefore the "Fool for Love" set is mostly too yellow, but the Angel caps have a lot of blues, so the "Darla" set ended up a little too magenta. Apart from the scene where Spike kills the Chinese slayer in "Fool for Love" (you know, the one with the insane red filter), I think the coloring came across mostly OK, though.

This picspam is brought to you by the most beautiful episode of BtVS that I've ever seen. This episode is so wonderful because every time you watch it, you pick up something new. While Buffy's dream was the most beautiful (though those caps of Buffy laughing in Giles' dream are probably my favorite of the entire series. I swear, sometimes I think SMG is the most beautiful girl in the world), Xander's scared me the most. Every time he ended up in the basement I was peeking through my fingers at the screen. And the eerie way he says, "That's not the way out"? OH MY GOD. *hides*

I had this really detailed and tl;dr post about my thoughts on the second half of Buffy S2 (short version: OMG I LOVE IT, Xander/Cordelia is too awesome for words, "Passion" was the first episode to make me cry, and "Becoming, Part II" is my favorite so far), but LJ ate it, and I am way too lazy too type it all up again. So I picspammed Drusilla instead. Spike and Dru are my favorite characters on Buffy, and apparently neither of them get substantial screen time in S3. *woe* Also, I think I love Dru too much to ever be a Spike/Buffy shipper. I know Spuffy becomes canon sometime in S5, which means sometime before then Spike and Dru have to break up, though I can't think of a reason that would cause them to split, seeing as Spike would probably move the Earth for Dru if she asked, and went up against freaking Angel to get her back (though I suppose Dru would be kind of pissed that Spike teamed up with Buffy to take down her sire. BUT THEY COULD TOTALLY WORK THAT OUT TOGETHER. THEY WOULDN'T HAVE TO BREAK UP OVER IT). AUGH.

01) List 5 celebrities you would have sex with without even asking questions.
02) Put all of them IN ORDER of your lust for them [5 - 1, 1 is the hottest].
03) Say which movie/show/thing it was that hooked you.
04) Supply photos for said people.
05) Tag five people.

Also, since I'm already spamming you all with images: I ran across this one photoshoot of Jared's while I was looking for an image I wanted, and I finally recognized the girl he's laying on! IT'S MAGGIE GRACE, OMG. They're so pretty together...

And I'm not one for Jack/Kate, but Matthew Fox and Evangeline Lily are ridiculously cute in all their photoshoots. Here, I shall give you proof:

I started this a long, long time ago, abandoned it, and then started over because I hated my old format. This is sans text, because all my comments would be some variation of "LOOK AT THE PRETTY! :D" (Also, I WILL NOT HEAR A WORD AGAINST EVE MYLES' TEETH. THEY ARE ADORABLE. As are Kirsten Dunst's. Weird teeth are awesome. ♥)

ETA: Oh, and if you're wondering why Naoko Mori's picture looks kind of different from everyone else's, it's because there are no good photoshoots of her. AUGH. So I had to resort to a screencap. D:

Despite this being the longest picspam I've ever done, I actually don't ship Ten/Reinette. I just really love Sophia Myles. And also, the black and white coloring I did makes the episode look like an old B-movie. It's kind of fantastic.

SO. The pilot of Life on Mars? That was some fascinating television, I mean, WOAH. Only, I think I'm going to have to watch it again because I spent the majority of the first twenty minutes staring at John Simm's neck. I DON'T EVEN KNOW.

And because I am a loser, here, have a mini-picspam of John Simm's neck Sam Tyler!

I knew while watching LoM that the massive amounts of green in the caps would make me cry - I just didn't know how much )

I watched the clip of River battling the Reavers from Serenity and it was so beautiful I had to picspam it. I cried as soon as Simon got shot. I cried while I chose caps. I cried while I colored them, and I'll probably be full on bawling by time I actually get around to watching the whole movie. Usually for picspams I try to make caps brighter and bring out hiddin color, but for this I made most of the caps darker and focused on the blue tones. For some, all you can see is River's silhouette and the light around her. And that's all you need because the scene's about light, and motion, and loss. It's beautiful that way.

Ouch I have lost myself again / Lost myself and I am nowhere to be found / Yeah I think that I might break / Lost myself again and I feel unsafe / Be my friend / Hold me, wrap me up / Unfold me / I am small / And needy / Warm me up / And breathe me )
